When Russia invaded Ukraine for the first time, everyone was concerned for Stepan and his family’s well-being. There have been a number of comments on his posts, and someone has even set up a Twitter account for him to post updates and attempt to raise awareness. Stepan and his family weren’t posting much, and everyone was just hoping that everything was okay with their lives.
It took a while, but Stepan’s family was able to post an update to let everyone know that they had made it out of Ukraine safely — with Stepan with them.
On Instagram, Stepan’s family wrote, “We had to spend two nights in the basement and were without power for a week.” “To recharge the phone, we had to go to the basement, which was a short walk away. ” After that, we were able to get out of the city without incident. Our transportation to the railway station was provided by Kharkiv volunteers. We boarded a train from Kharkiv to Lviv, which took us to our destination (in 20 hours, we got to Lviv). Afterward, we continued on to the Polish border. We had to wait in line at a pedestrian crossing to cross the border into Canada. The number of people present was significant (4 to 5 thousand). We arrived at the border after nine hours.””
The war came to Stepan and his family’s doorstep, and they were forced to leave because they couldn’t continue to live there. It was impossible for them to leave Stepan behind, even though it must have been difficult to take shelter with a cat in tow. Fortunately, they were able to travel across the country with Stepan in safety, and he even had the opportunity to gaze out the train windows and take in the sights of the countryside. The family has now relocated to France, where they hope to eventually return to their homeland of Ukraine.
“When we arrived in Poland, we were offered assistance by the World Influencers and Bloggers Association, which is based in Monaco,” the family stated in their letter. “They assisted us in getting to France in order to wait for the day when we would be able to return home. For the time being, everything is [fine]. We are extremely concerned about our relatives in Ukraine, and we will do everything in our power to assist our country.”
People are overjoyed to learn that Stepan and his family are safe, and everyone is relieved to know that he and his family will be okay.
