Army Spc. Andrew Brown, of the 89th Military Police Battalion and his military service dog, Rocky, were wounded in action while in Afghanistan. Both are now being treated at the hospital, side by side!
While the pair were searching a location, both were injured by an Improvised Explosive Device (IED). Both luckily survived the blast and were sent for medical care in the USA. Once they arrived at Walter Reed Hospital in Washington, DC, the two stopped for a photo shoot; Rocky even wore his new Purple Heart.
Once the photo went viral, thousand have sent their good wishes and thanks to these two heroes!
