When a young man saw a kitten nearly drowning in a pond, he immediately leaped into action. The hero risked his life while using a rope to climb down to the pond to save her, but the feline was so scared she scratched him when he tried to touch her.
The staff at Olive Tree farm recalls the fatal rescue operation. The kitten kept hindering their attempts to save her and the attempt has been captured on the video below.
The kitten was saved and dried and brought to safety.
The kitten is healthy and has calmed calming down a little bit, although she is still scared of humans.
