Animal Aid Unlimited, an animal rescue organization based in India received a call about an animal-like moaning coming out of a sewage tank. When they went to investigate, they made a horrible discovery, a small dog had fallen into the tank. He was barely able to keep his little head above water and was almost drowned.
The rescuers acted fast and lowered one man into the tank, while two others who held onto his legs. The puppy was very weak, but he recovered after a few days. The rescuers discovered that the puppy was afraid of people, but it only took a few treats and some love for him to trust again.
The puppy is now healthy and happy.
