At the annual Pet Food Express Pet Fair, animal lovers have a chance to celebrate pets by adopting rescue animals like dogs, cats, lizards, and more and attending speakers. In addition, there will be giveaways as well as an all-around celebration of pet life from September 11th-12th.
The Bay Area Pet Fair is the largest pet adoption event in the country. This annual drive brings together rescue pets from California shelters and centers hoping to find their forever home, so they can become a family’s newest addition. This year, the Pet Adoption Fair will be both online and in-person. The adoption goal is 3,500 pets – a new record! More than 7,000 adoptable animals from over 100 shelters across California are going to be shown off so there’s a good chance you’ll find your next best friend at this event.
Throughout the entire month of September, there will be virtual adoptions available for pets at different California shelters. Pet Food Express is also hosting online sweepstakes from September 1-12 where you can win a trip to Audacity Live with Coldplay in LA and more. On adoption weekend (September 11-12), they’ll host virtual speakers such as vets, trainers, and other animal specialists. Jackson Galaxy will join in to give his expertise on cats.
In-person adoption events happening at 20 Pet Food Express stores on September 11th and 12th will give attendees a chance to find the right pet for them by being able to meet adoptable pets, interact with them. A full map of participating locations can be found here!
