It’s a very common train of thought, and it makes sense to think about bringing home a new dog in this way.

However, this leaves plenty of wonderful animals without a home simply because they didn’t get a great start in life.

But, as anyone who’s adopted a dog rather than a puppy will tell you, there is so much these animals can offer a family. They’re more mature and the wildness of puppyhood is gone, leaving them more composed and relaxed.
