Annie Hart, from Rescue from the Heart, heard about a homeless poodle who had been hit by a car. She contacted Eldad Hagar from Hope for Paws to help her find this dog before it was too late. When they found her, she was hunched over near a wall that was next to a busy road. They named her Layla, and when she realized she was being rescued, she covered them with kisses of thanks.
Layla was taken to the vet where they found she had some internal damage, but with the help of the medical staff and the encouragement of her foster family, Layla managed to get better and is no longer living on the streets.
