When a young elephant calf got stuck in a large mud sink, her mother quickly came to the scene to try and pull her calf out. Despite her efforts, she was unable to free her child and was actually pushing her calf deeper into the mud.
That is when another member of the family took a different approach.
Through careful coaxing, grandma elephant encouraged the baby calf to work its own way out of the mud and was soon free!
