Dorothy, a cocker spaniel, was discarded in the Palmdale Desert. Her owners just dumped her off and left. Miraculously, a rescue organization called Woofin Paws got a call alerting them that Dorothy was wandering in the desert alone.
The poor dog was on the verge of death as she had a thick matted coat that made it impossible for volunteers to recognize her gender. This is when they realized the truth, Dorothy was from a puppy mill.
Dorothy was shaved, cleaned and ready to cuddle. She was adopted into her forever loving home in less than three months!
