Unfortunately, puppy mills are more prevalent than people know. People that buy puppies from pet stores are not aware that they are usually purchased from puppy mills. Puppy mill breeders only care about one thing: profit. The well-being and health of the animals is not a huge concern.
Organizations like the Humane Society of the United States have stepped in to rescue animals like Daniel. Daniel and another 295 dogs were was rescued from a puppy mill. The poor puppy was not able to use his front legs. But after only two days of therapy, he’s getting around just like a normal puppy.
Daniel’s hoping to find a forever home of his own soon!
