Roo, a Chihuahua, missing his two front legs, was destined for a hard life. However, Roo is pretty resilient and should not be underestimated.
Roo wondered who would want him because of his disability and became depressed. That was until he met a chicken, yes, a chicken, the pair bonded over their disabilities.
Roo’s new best friend is a Silkie chicken who was rescued from a scientific testing facility.
The pint-sized dog is now one feisty, big-smiling puppy who runs around on two legs with his new pal. They love being together.
The pair plays, sleeps, and cuddles together. They’ve shown the world how love, friendship and a chance to live makes all the difference in life.
Both were adopted, so make sure you “adopt, don’t shop” next time you want a loving connection with a special pet.
