Having one dog is great, having two dogs that get along is even more wonderful, as they have someone to play with when you’re not at home. But three dogs?
You wouldn’t think that a Weimaraner and a dachshund could be such close friends. The size difference alone would make you think the larger dog would see his smaller counterpart as a tasty meal, but you couldn’t be more wrong.
Harlow the Weimaraner, and Indiana the dachshund is the best of friends and do absolutely everything together. They snuggle in bed, laugh for the camera, and even scope out their newest sibling in the form of another puppy.
Reese Lightning is the newest addition to the dog family. Reese is a miniature dachshund with a speckled colouration that definitely adds some character to their home.
The pup is only nine weeks old and was given up for adoption when her original parents could no longer keep her. Though they seem wary of their smallest sibling, they couldn’t be happier with her.
She does chew on their ears and tails from time to time, but they take it all in stride. Once her puppy years are over, she’ll likely grow out of it so that they can get their afternoon naps in peace.
They do play quite well together and would likely defend each other should a danger pose a threat to any of them. This floppy-eared trio couldn’t be more adorable.
