Rare Orphaned Spotted Lamb Is Adopted By The Most Unlikely Mom

Crossbreeding is such a rare event but it does happen from time to time, especially on farms. Crossbreeding is when animals of different species mate and produce a breed that a mix of both the species. What happened in Barossa Valley, Australia was an anomaly for this breed:  a spotted lamb that was abandoned at a tender age.

John Bolton, the lamb’s owner, said he thinks this lamb may be a “Sheepmaltian”! The orphaned lamb found a new mama  That’s right, this mama dalmatian obviously thinks that the lamb is her baby and gives her unconditional motherly love he deserves.
