Most pigs are known for being messy, smelly animals that eat garbage. This is so far from the truth.
Meet the Mangalica pig, a breed of pig that has a fur coat as curly as a sheep’s.
Since similar species of this pig have become extinct, Mangalica pigs are a rare sight.
To save them from suffering the same fate, in the early 1990’s, people started a breeding program in Hungary in order to bring these pigs back to the world.
They are now the only breed left to have these coats, and that makes them even more special.
Look at these adorable piglets!
If you thought baby pigs were cute before, then this is a new level of cuteness.
The pigs also come in a wide variety of colors, such as red and black.
They love to play and swim and can get just as dirty as their less hairy cousins.
We do not know if their coats can be used to make wool, but until then, we’ll keep admiring these wonderful pigs.
