Ninna Mandin, a 26-year-old from Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, was about to get married. However, that was until Ninna made a shocking discovery about her fiancé. After she installed security cameras in her home, she caught her boyfriend brutally abusing her dog, in what turned out to be absolutely horrific footage.
When Ninna started to notice that her French bulldogs had bruises and blue spots all over their body, she suspected that something wasn’t right. She also noticed that their pups were starting to get scared of him.
“They became really scared of him. After that, the wounds started to appear and the vet couldn’t explain where they were coming from. That’s when I decided to install a camera in the living room,” she says.
After she reviewed the footage from the secretly installed security cameras, she could not believe her eyes. Her fiancé was seen hitting and kicking one of her bulldogs in absolutely disgusting fashion.
“I’m not even thinking about the wedding. My pain is seeing what the dogs suffered.”
Ninna called off the wedding in an instant without hesitation. She could not believe that the man she loved could be capable of doing such horrendous things such as animal cruelty but is glad she found out before they got married.
She thought he was an affectionate person, but it was all just a ruse. When Ninna would leave the house, her boyfriend’s true attitude towards to the loyal pups would rise to the surface.
“It was a shock because we think we know people, but in reality, we don’t,” she said. “But now, I want justice before the law.”
Ninna didn’t stop there, she posted the footage on the internet exposing her ex-boyfriend to the entire world.
The Brazilian woman then organized an online petition so that he could be rightfully charged with animal cruelty. Ninna’s story went viral and more than 30,000 people signed the petition.
The police have investigated the report, however, their findings weren’t made public.
The man has been on the run in Brazil ever since the video was released.
