This is the story of Nico the pit bull who’s been through hell and back before he finally found his forever loving home. Nico is covered in scars from dog fighting, his teeth have been chiseled and his ears look like they’ve been cropped with kitchen shears. When his photo went viral, it broke every animal lover’s heart. The poor boy looked depressed, malnourished, defeated, and had actually given up on life.

There were so many people who wanted to pull Nico out of the shelter so when one concerned animal lover decided to step in, she was told that Nico was dangerous, he was a bitter and he was aggressive.

His rescuer did not give up on him, he now has a forever loving home and an amazing mommy too.
